George Russell Phillips II, 42, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014. Russ was a personal trainer and co-owner of Elite Fitness of Jacksonville. He loved hunting and fishing. Russ loved people and could make a room shine when he went in. He is survived by his parents George R. and Sandra Merick Phillips; daughter Amber Boyer (Adam); brothers Jim Wallace (Angie) and Darryl Johnson (Jennifer); sister Charryl Wallace; aunt and uncle Susie and Earl Alford; his beloved dog “Zora”; as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 2:00pm at Hardage Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home.
