14 years old, & a recent New Jersey transplant, walking home from school & alone as usual, a voice calls out, "hey chick!" Turning, I see this bell bottomed, tye-dyed shirted, long haired,  skinny, freckled girl, sitting on a motor cycle, with a couple of long haired dudes. It must be those hippies Aunt Dottie warned me about, I thought.  Curious & eager to make new friends, I ventured over.  52 years we drifted in & out of each other lives. I though maybe we'd drift by each other a few more times but you cut the ties & drifted quietly away. RIP Gloria.

Gloria is still so very missed but I know that she is surrounded by peace, harmony and love.

Stubborn is the word used most to describe Gloria. But with that also came a love so strong. She is at home now. She is at peace.
