Herbert Roy Knouse, 84, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013. He was born November 18, 1928 to Jessie and Emma May Knouse in Chillicothe, Missouri. Herbert retired from the U.S. Navy Electricians Mate E6 and worked at Occidental Chemical Jacksonville, FL. He is preceded in death by three brothers, Jessie, Reuben and Richard, four sisters, Margaret, Beulah, Ruby and Elizabeth Jane. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, one daughter Linda Jo Reese, Escanaba, MI, one sister Rose Emmons, Chillicothe, MO, sister in law Margaret Evelyn Knouse , eight grandchildren, nephew Craig (Linda) Knouse ,nieces and nephews, friends Connie Mayor, Eddie (Eydie) Mellor Jacksonville, FL. Viewing will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm and funeral services immediately afterwards for family and friends.
