Hilda Smith Gunn, 97, of Jacksonville went to Heaven on Sunday, August 19, 2012. Hilda is preceded by her husband of over 60 years and many other family members. She was born in Bartow, FL, but lived most of her life in Jacksonville. Hilda was a dedicated member of Murray Hill Baptist Church for over 65 years. She is survived by three children: Mary Jean Holden, Robert Gunn, Jr., and Gail McGee; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and sister, Emmaline Arthur. Hilda will be remembered for her generous spirit. Funeral arrangement have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home located at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32205. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Riverside Memorial Park located at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32205.
