James Hardy graduated from Jones College. He was married to Emily Hardy. James worked as a Field Appraiser. He had a passion for reading, sports, bowling, and doing crosswords.
He is survived by children Joel C. Hardy, and step-son James Allen; Grandchildren Corey Allen, Sarah Allen, Mallory Allen, Clelsea Allen, and Michael Allen; Brother William Hardy.
A memorial service for James will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
