James Foster Robinson, 79 years old passed away on November 5, 2013. James was born in Jacksonville, FL. on April 5 1934. He later attended and graduated from Andrew Jackson High School. James retired from JEA after 33 years of service which also matched his service of 33 years and retirement from the US Air National Guard. James favorite pastime was playing and enjoying his hobby as a pool player. James is predeceased by his father, Melvin Robinson and mother Effie Mae Robinson; brother Marvin Robinson and sister Carolin Robinson. He is survived by the love of his life, wife Artie Cleo Robinson; son Jerry (Tammie) Robinson; son James (Geraldine) Robinson ; son Timothy (Tabatha)Robinson; Brother Raymond (June) Robinson; and brother Glen (Sue Ellen) Robinson; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of UF Shands Jax for all their support and also thank the Garden City Church of God for their support. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home located at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jax. FL 32205. A public visitation will be held, Saturday Nov. 9, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, followed by a Funeral service Sunday Nov. 10, 2013 at 2:00 pm with interment at Riverside Memorial Park, Reverend Andrew Schiltz officiating.
