
James Madison Sutton, born the son of Henry and Versa Sutton November 13, 1938 in Axson, GA passed away January 31, 2013. After returning from the United States Air Force he began working for the post office delivering mail by train, where he joined the local postal workers Union, receiving several accolades for improving our mailing system. Then becoming Editor in Chief of the local and state "Florida Postal Worker" newspaper which helped provide him the platform needed for becoming Vice President and then the President of the local mail clerks union. After serving his country several more years in the civil service community he retired to his home where he continued to give selflessly his support to family and friends as only he could give. James is predeceased by his son, David Scott. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, daughter Denise, brother Michael and his wife Sue, brother Norman and his wife Terry, sister Jimi Koch and her husband Mel, as well as three grandchildren Riley, Maranda, and Faith. Inurnment memorial service will be held at Riverside Memorial Park located at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jax. FL 32205 on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 2pm.
