James Walter Turner Jr, passed away December 31, 2013 in Jacksonville. He was born August 27, 1946 to James Walter and Mildred (Helms) Turner Sr. James had a love for the outdoors and many of its activities such as sailing, camping, boating, water skiing, and being an avid cyclist. James will be missed dearly by his loving wife of 49 years Barbara Turner; two sons James Walter Turner III (Sadie) and Thomas Turner (Trisha); one daughter Teresa Lynn Turner; eleven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Family will receive family and friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at the funeral home Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32205. Interment will be 2:00 pm at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
