

Jane Faye Beach was born on March 29, 1938 in Live Oak, FL and joined Heaven’s Bluegrass Band on June 11, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Harvey Smith Royal, Jr., who was the love of her life for 60 years, her son, Doug Royal and her daughter, Debi Royal Wilkinson (David Tarbert). Her vivacious spirit lives on through her grandchildren who call her “Geegie”: Joshua Porter, Dakota Wilkinson & Cheyenne Wilkinson. She is also survived by her brother Bill Beach, niece Raliegh Ann Beach Little, nephew Larry Beach (Cassandra), beloved sister-in-law Lynn Reynolds, nieces Kristi Rowland (Donald), Kelli Brinley (Scott), Kaitlyn Griffith and nephew, Solomon Brinley. She leaves behind countless family members, friends and bluegrass family. Miss Jane’s life was an amazing love story. She and Harvey met in 1955, were married on July 19th, 1957 and had many years of happiness and adventures including camping, whitewater rafting and canoeing, zip lining, hot air ballooning, snowmobiling and traveling. Jane was an avid Bluegrass musician and played many instruments such as the Piano, Banjo and Dulcimer but primarily the Upright Bass. She was xtremely talented and passionate about her music and played in multiple Bluegrass bands including Woods & Bridges, The Briar Pickers, The Olustee String Band, Coastal Blue, Some Day and “John and the Gang”, just to name a few. Her influences in the Bluegrass music community run deep and she was an inspiration to many. Miss Jane had a stroke in 2008 and always said that her music and her music family saved her and assisted greatly in her recovery. She was an incredibly smart, fearless, selfless, funny, kind and compassionate woman who cared deeply for her family. She will be missed by all, but we know she is making beautiful music in Heaven. She is preceded in death by her Mother (Edwina Lanier Beach), Father (Perry Oliver Beach), Father-in-law (Harvey Smith Royal, Sr.), Mother-in-law (Norma Royal) and granddaughter Kirstin Lee Porter. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL.
