to my sister and Jason,the grand babies,Brian, so glad Pat and I made it down,who is going to make the sweet tea and give me a hard time about using no ice,we loved him more then words can say,as we love you all,  he always made you laugh and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, now he can take mommy ice fishing and watch the races with daddy.he loved you all so much.

Sue and I are very sorry to hear about Jerry. I am still in shock. He was a great guy and we spent many times at lunch and a few times fishing. I will never forget him. I am glad I got to know him, I am sure a lot of people did. We will pray for your family and know he is in God's hands.

Deep condolences for the family of Jerry. Years ago, he & I worked together. He was such an upbeat man. Always had a smile & a joke, even on days his knees bothered him.  He loved to tease and make difficult situations into  quick, workable solutions.
Our last meeting was at the vintage Fred Cotton  Bar-B-Q restaurant on the Northside. He & his son  were enjoying a late lunch & I was also doing the same with my Mom.  We had a good visit.  God Speed Jerry.  Your kindness was truly a gift.

Jerry was my friend, colleague and fishing pal.  My memories run deep and fondly of our fishing trips together, our work endeavors and our playing years of softball together and coaching T-ball.
Jerry and I often shared philosophically and of God's magnificience and beauty in nature.  Jerry beamed from the inside out when speaking of his family.  I am saddened by his passing but, too, I know without a doubt Jerry and I will fish together again one day.  For now, I will miss my old friend.  Jerry was an inspiration and my life is richer having been fortunate enough to share a bit of it with him.

Just saw Jerry a few weeks ago in Walgreens....and as always....he had a smile on his face.  We are so sorry for your loss.  We know he will be deeply missed.  As we read the other guest book posts, we thought it really shows what a nice person Jerry was.....when you read such kind words about him from so many co-workers...says a lot about a person.

Jerry was a dear friend and co-worker, "I will never forget the fond memories.  
He was one of the most fun people to be around. He was able to effortlessly make everyone else have a good time. He loved to talk about his weekend fishing trips and if he had a good trip would often share some of his catch. He also loved talking about his grandchildren and places he liked to have lunch. 
Jerry you will truly be missed but I know you are happy on the surf fishing all day lone.

Jerry will be greatly missed at WorkSource.  He spoke often of his wife and grandchildren and you just knew he adored them.  He was such a kind and thoughtful person who enjoyed his job because it allowed him to help others.  I will miss all of our conversations about law shows and what silly four year olds do to keep us on our toes.  But mostly just his smiling face each day.

Jerry and I worked together at WorkSource for 5 1/2 years and he was a walking talking example of a sincerely happy person.  Each time that I saw him he would smile and say "hey, girl!".  I'm going to miss that so much.  He played a vital role within our organization of improving the work skills of Northeast Florida's workforce.  Jerry's never quit, never give up attitude has left an imprint on my life. He will be missed greatly! Jerry was a great guy. I don't remember ever seeing him without a smile on his face. He is truly missed.

I join with so many others who knew Jerry in offering our deepest sympathy on his passing. Although it is little consolation at this sad time, it should be of some satisfaction to know that in his passing you can celebrate the end of a very long and productive life.

1 of my workSource family members died... Jerry... he was a kind man & always said hello... Mr. Jerry always had something nice to say. Monday will be hard because he won't be there. His office was right by me... on those rough mornings who is going to make my day now? I hope his family knows how much people really care about him & will miss him. On any given day he would brighten up the room... our last conversation was joking about not fitting into things. You never know what will be your last conversation with someone or the impact of losing them will have on your life. Gone to Glory...but Jerry left his mark...by being kind all the time...to everyone in his path.

Jerry wasn't an in-law to us, he was one of us.  We loved him as if he hadn't married into our family, but been born into it.  Living in Indianapolis, I didn't get to see him often, but he was always so welcoming when I came for a visit. It will be so hard to come again and not see him.  I will trasure the memories and times spent in Jacksonville.  My thoughts are with Jeannie, as we call her, and the family he leaves behind.
