I first met Jerry in the sixth grade, then spent three year with him at paxon jr. high.He was a lot of fun to be around.I will always cherish the memories i have of Jerry.My prayer is the LORD will give his wife and family the peace and comfort during this difficult time. May GOD bless you all.

We have many fond memories of Jerry over the past 20 years.  He was one of those rare people who always projected a positive attitude and who found humor in just about every situation. He made you feel good just being around him. And what a wonderful example of a devoted father he was!   We will all miss him.

When I was a little girl I was always with all the rest of Jerry's little girls and he was a wonderful influence to me as an adult man, or father.  Jerry was always able to solve the problem whatever it was, and he often brought home candy for all of us kids :) I have been blessed to know him and am I sad that this happened, I am praying for all of the family, that God will bring you comfort and peace.

Jerry will be greatly missed.. Even though it's easier said than done we are to rejoice that he is now with our saviour and is in no more pain.. My heart and prayers are with the family during this time of deep pain and taking comfort in the promise that one day we shall see him again!!

My heart just aches, our paths crossed many years ago and crossed again in 2004 when he was gracious enough to listen to a mother about her son and the dreams that she had for him.  He gave me his business card and told me that if he could be of any help to the young man to have him call him.  That was the begining of my son's future as a electrician.  I will forever be greatful to Jerry Horton and Horton Electric as a whole for believing in my son (Justin Graham).  Thanks Jerry, you will always be remembered and we will always hold a special place in our hearts just for you.

Joey, Randy, Billy and Kathy - I met Jerry when I was seven years old. Both our families had just moved into a new neighborhood, and it was our first day in third grade.  At the time, I had no idea how big a role he would play in my life as we grew from those skinny little kids into adults. To the family of Jerry Horton - I went to Paxon High School (Class of 1972) with Jerry.  He and Joey would spend weekends on the Santa Fe River in Fort White, FL with Jimmy Chadwick's family.  My family had a cabin on the river as well.  We had such a great time being crazy teenagers!!!  I haven't seen Jerry in many years but would think about him from time to time. Jerry's memory will live on in our thoughts and in our hearts.
