Joe Lynn Flanagan, age 89, passed away in Jacksonville, FL on August 6, 2023. He was born in Lumber City, GA to James Andrew Flanagan and Susan Lillian Pace Flanagan. He married Marilyn Spaulding Flanagan on November 1, 1953.
Joe spent some time in the U.S. Air Force as a fuels specialist and then became a truck driver with petroleum carriers. He enjoyed watching movies, sports, traveling and beach, rivers and lakes adventures.
Joe is survived by son, Ryan Lynn Flanagan; grandsons, Jason Flanagan and Patrick Flanagan; and granddaughter, Amanda Flanagan.
Preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Marilyn S. Flanagan; father, James Andrew Flanagan; mother, Lillian P. Flanagan and all of seven of his brothers and sisters.
