She was born June 9, 1935 to John and Leavina Scott in Perry, FL. Johnnie loved to read, spend time with J.R., her 4 legged grandson,
as well as all her other family, sitting on her porch watching her squirrels and go to the flea market on Saturday and Sunday. She retired from Barnett Bank after 30 years as a teller first and then retiring as a bank officer. Johnnie was a charter member of 103rd Street Baptist Church and was currently a member of Rolling Hills Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Thomas. Johnnie is survived by her daughter Tammy Sue Firlotte, (Raymond Musgrove), her four legged grandson J.R., two sisters Frances West, Elizabeth Rowland (Charles) and Uncle Tommy’s Tweetie, her niece (Edith Price-Nick), nephews John (Suzanne) West, Mason (Denise) West Jr., Michael (Carol) Rowland, Danny (Laura) Rowland, Mrs. Broach is also survived by a very special friend of Tammysue, Patty Davis. Tammysue has said that she does not know how she would have made it through this very difficult time in her life without the support and friendship of Patty, she has been a true blessing. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
