Joseph Earl Thompson Sr., lovingly known as Joe, was born on September 25, 1958, and departed this life on December 17, 2025. Joe was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather whose life was centered around faith, family, and hard work.
Joe was a hardworking man who dedicated over 20 years of his life to building trusses for a lumber company. He took pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic and dependability. Beyond his career, Joe had a deep passion for mentoring young people. He served as a Boy Scout Scoutmaster, where he found great joy in guiding boys as they grew into young men, leaving a lasting impact on countless lives.
Family meant everything to Joe. He cherished being surrounded by his loved ones and created memories that will be treasured forever.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, and his sister.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Thompson; his children, Missy Atkinson (Michael Shoto), Joseph Thompson Jr. (Kathy Nance), and Joel Thompson (Hannah); and his beloved grandchildren, Jayden, Cairo, and Naiomi; his sister Carla and multiple nieces and nephews.
Joe's legacy of love, dedication, ang guidance will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
