The memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday October 8th, 2015 at Town & Country Funeral Home. Huey Jones will be officiating.
Karen was born in New York, NY on June 29, 1953. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School.
Karen was married to Steven L. Jones on September 4, 1988; they were married for 28 years.
Karen worked as an Elementary School Teacher for 20 years. She enjoyed her grandchildren, reading murder mysteries, HGTV, Judge Judy, and country music.
Karen is survived by her loving husband Steven, her son Steven Jones (Rebecca), daughter Danielle Jones (William), her brother Rand Franzese (Kelly), 4 grandchildren; Matthew Tayloe, Gaven Jones, Aiden Jones Rudy, Jazmin Jones, and other family and friends.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents Frances and Rocco Franzese.
Karen was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She had a passion for life, and she was loved by many.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Jacksonville Humane Society. The family of Karen Lynne Jones wishes to thank the doctors and staff of St. Vincent’s Medical Center and Northeast Florida Community Hospice.
