Katherine Elizabeth Rogers Bernard, 71, went home to be with her Lord on September 7, 2012, following an extended hospitalization. Upon release from the hospital, she settled into her chair and a few hours later went Home. Elizabeth touched everyone she met with love. It was her gift to give. Physically she suffered with chronic Crohn’s Disease from the age of 15, but through it all she always gave His love. She resided in Jacksonville, with the love of her life, her husband Dan N. Bernard who survives her. Elizabeth is also survived by many dear & beloved family members & friends. She valued each of you.
We want to thank all of her caregivers, who so lovingly took care of her when she could not take care of herself. We also thank Community Hospice, you are special people to do what you do.Memorial services will be held Saturday 15, 2012, 2:00PM at 1901 Miracle Lane.
