At the age of 2, she moved with her family to Grand Turk, British West Indies, where her father, Rolin had accepted a position with the downrange missile tracking stations; she lived there until 1975. Her Dad was then transferred to Eleuthera, Bahamas; Kelly lived there until 1979, The next exciting adventure with her family was to Antigua, West Indies, where she lived until returning to the States in 1983 to begin working in retail fashion industry. Growing up in the islands gave Kelly an excellent understanding of multi-cultural societies that she loved and embraced with her wonderful smile. Kelly made a lifetime of memories and friends, which she always held very close to her heart. Despite being the youngest of five sisters, she was always happy to be the appointed chaperone, and for a small fee (or a piece of candy), she could be easily persuaded to make her sisters look good in her reports back to our parents. We were always extremely close to and protective of our little sister and we loved her immensely. Kelly was the light of our lives; her presence, her joy and her laughter can never be replaced, but will live forever in our hearts.
Kelly is predeceased by her parents Rolin Ebanks and Corine Ebanks.
She is survived by her sisters; Shelly Barickman (Rob), Sally England (Tom), Lucy Lane (Dal), Nieces; Kasey Dierbeck (Mike), nephews; Shannon Spinner, Lucas Lane, and Logan Lane, Great Niece Caitlin, Great Nephew Garrett, and many dear friends, Aunts, Uncles and cousins as well.
"You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along" You must do the thing you think you cannot do."
----Eleanor Roosevelt
