Lenora “Lee” Rose Jones, 77, was called home on Thursday, January 5, 2017 in Jacksonville, FL. Lee was born on November 29, 1939 to William and Mary Hostetter in Jefferson County, MO. She spent her life doing the things she loved most which included traveling or fishing with her husband, loving and spoiling every animal that crossed her path, and satisfying her sweet tooth with any kind of chocolate, to name a few. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Harold, two brothers, and one sister. Her legacy will live on lovingly in the hearts of her children, Linda (Tim) Connolly and Ronda (Ken) Taylor; grandchildren, Allison (Joe) Wright, Amy (Evan) Rowntree, Ansley O’Connor, and Samantha Connolly; great-grandchildren, William, Scarlett, and Charlie; siblings, John Hostetter and Roberta Pruden; in-laws, Winton Jones, Venita Holton, Geneva Rice, Glenda Marcott, Danny (Mary) Jones; grandmonkey, Abu; granddogs, Shadow, Daisy, Pandora, and Copper; countless nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and grandcats. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at 2pm at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL. Lee will be laid to rest following the service at Riverside Memorial Park.
