Lewellan Coburn Norris, 94, went home to be with the Lord on January 30, 2015 in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Mrs. Norris was born July 12, 1920 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leaman Lloyd Norris and her youngest daughter, Shirley Jean Pruett. She is survived by her daughters Nancy Jane Edwards (Barry) and Barbara Ann Jenkins (John), grandchildren Brian Kresmary (Rhoda), Allison Marshall (Jeremy), Bethany Patterson (Wayne), Michele Elaine Pruett, Jonathan Jenkins (Ashlee), Michael Jenkins (Sarah), and great- grandchildren T’Kyha, Lorenzo, Colton, Matthew, and Ethan, and her sister Susie Murphy. She had a heart for missions, was a devoted Sunday school teacher, and worked with Child Evangelism Fellowship. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 2-3pm in the chapel of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral services to begin at 3:00pm in the chapel with interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
