On October 5, 1956, Lloyd married the love of his life, Dona Jean Budde. Lloyd had a long career in the automotive industry, and worked for King Crown Ford, where he retired. After leaving Ford, he began working as a bailiff for Duval County.
A longtime member of the Masons, Lloyd had a passion for dogs, woodworking, and GATOR FOOTBALL!
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 62 years, Dona, his children; Lloyd “Sonny” Reid Brown Jr. (Anna) of Dothan, AL and Raymond H. Brown (Kathy) of St. Simons Island, GA, grandchildren; Jaime Brannon (Jason) of Midland, AL and Justin Brown (Andrea) of Woodstock, GA, 6 great granddaughter and brothers; Bobby Brown of South Dakota and Joe Brown of Stafford, VA.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 19, 2018 in Shepard of the Woods Lutheran Church, 7860 Southside Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32256
