Loraine Long, born 04/14/32 went home to the Lord on 12/23/13. She was a wonderful wife, mother, granny, sister, & friend. She will be missed greatly by her family. We would like to thank Community Hospice for being so wonderful to our mother and family. She is preceded in death by her daughter Linda Faye Petty, 2 grandchildren Tina Parker Allen, and Bryan Petty. She leaves behind her husband of 62 years, Harry D Long, children Shirley Trent, Janice Rogers (Clint), Harry Jr. (Rhonda), Harriet Barnett (Dennis), Marti Shepherd (Anthony) & son in law Frank Petty. Loraine is also survived by her siblings Betty Peeples, Faye Calbert (Bill) Carl Wilkinson (Judy), grandkids Frankie, Bradley, Joey, Michael, Jake, Lorie, Amanda, Daniel, Ryan, Lee, Chris, Sissy, Tamsy, Teena, Taylor, Tanya 26 great grandchildren & 2 great great grandchildren. Family will receive friends and family 6:00 – 8:00 PM,Thursday, December 26, 2013 AT Hardage- Gidden Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, www.townandcountryfuneralhome.com . Funeral Services will be 2:30 pm, Friday December 27, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will follow services at Riverside Memorial Park.
