Malcolm Charles Norse

Born on April 8th, 1953 in Jacksonville, FL to Camal and Jeannette Norse, Malcolm grew up surrounded by a loving family and lifelong friends who shared in countless joyful memories.

Malcolm was an entrepreneur who built many successful businesses and of late, Malcolm established a meaningful career in Security and Surveillance at Security Center USA, where he was known for his ability to lead with compassion and vision.

In 1977, Malcolm married Samieh Sweda, and together they shared 48 and a half wonderful years filled with love, grace and mercy. They were blessed with Christopher (Marisa), Timothy Paul, Rachel (Ernest) and Theresa and six grandchildren (Anthony, Hunter, Kaley, Lilliana, Elijah Paul and Judah). Malcolm was predeceased by his father (Camal Norse), mother (Jeannette Norse) and sister (Mary Ann Norse). Survivors include his sister Terry Cadoura (Charles) and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Malcolm had a love for Jesus Christ and shared The Gospel with everyone he encountered. He pastored several churches, with the last one being Mercy Fellowship Ministries, Inc. Malcolm will be remembered for his compassion for others, his vision, leadership and humor.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15th, 2025 at 1:00 PM at City Bible Church located at 711 St. Johns Bluff North, Jacksonville, FL 32225. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate Malcolm’s life.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites love gifts for the work of the ministry to City Bible Church in Malcolm’s memory.
