Margaret “Jenny” Virginia Taylor, 90, passed away January 6, 2016 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born May 15, 1925 to the late Alexander Caulder and Phodie Jackson in Bennettsville, SC.
She lived in Raleigh for many years where she was a beautician and owned and operated her own shop. Eventually she retired to Emerald Isle, NC where she was a member of the Swansboro Methodist Church, a long standing member of the Emerald Isle Garden Club, Needlepushers and many social clubs. She loved gardening, all types of animals, birds, was active in Island Cat Allies, reading, and entertaining friends and family.
Family members include her brother Lamar (Rose) Caulder, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and many friends who will miss her dearly.
She is predeceased by her husband Dave Taylor, her mother, father, two sisters and four brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 11am, January 30, 2016 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St. Mary’s St., Raleigh, NC.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
