Mary Frances Eckenroth, a gentle, devoted, and compassionate soul, passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 85. A resident of Jacksonville, Florida, Mary leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication.
She was born on November 11, 1940, to Tucker Walker and Lillie Merith in Roanoke, Virginia. Mary was a high school graduate who went on to have a fulfilling career as a machinist at Mac Paper Company. Her dedication to her work was matched only by her commitment to her family and personal interests. Mary found joy in cooking, shopping, and taking care of her family, activities that truly reflected her nurturing nature.
Mary is survived by her sons, Richard and Scott Kelly, her daughter, Lisa Kelly, nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
A visitation will be held on November 20, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Acosta Room, located at 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 pm at Riverside Memorial Park, at the same address.
