Born in Miami, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gilliam. Mary grew up in Miami and graduated with the Class of 1955 from Edison High School. She spent her whole career with Publix at the same store in Miami Lakes, retiring after nearly 30 years of service. Mary moved to Jacksonville from Miami in 2003.
Surviving are her daughters, Rebecca Pike and her husband Richard of Jacksonville, Tamara King of Hollywood, and Felicia Kent of Pooler, GA; grandchildren, Jennifer Tavel (Jason), Amy Riddley (Trey), Shannon Morsillo, Johnath Morsillo (Angelie), James Morsillo (Allison), and Spencer Burch (Emily); and 13 great-grandchildren.
