Mary Ann Schweckendieck (Ann), 86, a long time résident of Jacksonville, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 3, 2024. She was born on September 16, 1938 in Barbour County, Alabama, daughter of the late Dorman and Lillian Register.
Ann will always be remembered as a strong, vivacious, fun and personable woman who encouraged and touched the hearts and lives of everyone she met. Despite the many challenges that she faced through life, she was determined to overcome while inspiring others with strength, and encouragement. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed dearly by all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Schweckendieck, daughter Debi Knowles, son Joey Green/RD Stone, grandson Derek Stone and her much adored sister, Evelyn.
She is survived by her son, Gary Green Sr, daughters, Kathie Wand (Ken), Jackie Wright (Rick), step-children, Tracey ,Kevin, grandchildren, Zane Dickins, Gary Green Jr, Austin Stone, Marshall Wand, Ricky Wright Jr, Caleb Wright and several great grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend and will be dearly missed by all.

A graveside for Mary will be held Friday, November 8, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at External Service Location, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
