

Pamela lived a life defined by dedication, service, and a deep connection to the Jacksonville community. She spent much of her life in Jacksonville, Florida, where she lived with her husband, Gerald Skipper, before later moving to St. John’s County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Skipper.
Pamela is survived by her loving family: her daughter, Daphne Burgard, and her husband, Dr. Jesse Burgard, and their sons Jake, Ethan, and Gavin; her daughter, Catherine Dearling, and her husband, Neil Dearling, and their daughters Heidi and Lara. She is also survived by her devoted partner, Phillip DeLisle, and his daughter, Emily.
Pamela proudly served her country in the United States Army from 1974 to 1977. She went on to spend 26 years with the United States Department of Defense, including many years at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, where she supported service members and their families throughout a long and meaningful career.
Following her government service, Pamela continued helping others as a Realtor with Watson Realty Corp., where she worked for over a decade. She took great pride in guiding clients through important life decisions and was known for her steady, supportive presence.
Pamela will be remembered for her warmth, her love of friendship, and her adventurous spirit. She cherished time with her friends and especially loved traveling throughout Europe, creating lasting memories and stories she shared with those around her.
Her greatest joy was her family, and she leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and connection that will continue through them.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on May 9, 2026, at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery.
Pamela will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
