He was born in Barre, VT on July 31st 1951, and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1969.
Ronald began his career of service in the U.S. Navy, where he served honorably from 1969 to 1998.
After retiring from the Navy he worked for the Duval County Tax Collector until returning to Navy life
as a Government Service Employee in the Separations Department of Naval Station Mayport,
retiring in March 2013.
Ronald married the love of his life Mayda in 1974; they were married over 35 years and had two
sons. Ronald never hesitated to show pride in his boys. He worked very hard to provide and care
for his family, and was willing to do anything he could for them. He loved playing with his
grandchildren. He never found a vegetable he liked, and never found a sweet he didn’t. He was
incredibly kind, and always willing to help others in need. He was a great husband, father,
grandfather, and friend.
Ronald is survived by his wife Mayda, his two sons, Mitcheal Landry of Jacksonville, FL and
Daniel Landry of Orange Park, FL, 6 grandchildren, his brother Mitcheal (Mike) and sister Karen.
