Mi Abuelita,
I'm glad you are free of the burdens of your body.  There is no more pain, but I miss you.  My favorite thing was at the beginning of every call, you would say, "Baby, it's Grandma."  I took much comfort in your love and pride in me and absolute acceptance of all of me.  I also take much pride in you - in being your granddaughter.  You were a tough, beautiful, elegant woman who lived life with passion, hard work, strength, generosity.  I'm very proud.  I love you very much and I know I'll see you again .

Oh the comfort the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with someone. Of never having to weigh words or deeds but pouring them all out chafe and grain knowing that a faithful hand will take and sift them keep what is worth keeping and with the breath of kindness blow the rest away. 
Most beloved mother I will miss you until the time comes to join you I will be without my best friend. God surely has you in glory and blessing you for all 
the good you did in this life. 
Love you so dearest mother. 
Rest now till we meet again.
