Dennie was a member of the Air National Guard and Reserve and he also graduated from the first graduating class of Jacksonville University with a BS degree. Many people remember that he owned a business for years called “Denny’s Payless”. He was a member of the West Jacksonville Advent Christian Church.
Dennie is survived by his wife Joan Caldreon; son Brett Caldreon (Dominique); daughter Sherri Caldreon; granddaughter Kayla Collado and husband (Javin); and grandson Cameron Caldreon.
Preceded in death by parents Roy and Ada Caldreon and sister Ada Kay Bowers Keele.
A funeral service for Roy will be held Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service at 3:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
