Ruel Dayo Fajardo, 49, of Jacksonville, died Friday February 27, 2015. He was born March 30, 1965 in San Pablo, Philippines, the son of Ruben Sia Fajardo and Lilia Dayo Fajardo. Ruel graduated from University of the Philippines in 1986. He married Emilia “Amy” Mendoza Fajardo on March 29, 1985, and they lived in San Pablo City, Philippines before moving to Jacksonville, Florida in 1992. Ruel was an active member of the Jacksonville congregation of Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ). His number one priority has always been his commitment to his family. He worked very hard to provide for his family and put his children through college. In his spare time Ruel enjoyed working on cars and operating his remote control air planes and boats. Ruel is survived by loving wife Emilia Fajardo, and their three children Ariss Jose, Alfonso Jose, and Ana Josefa. He also survived by his mother Lilia Dayo Fajardo, sisters Rowena Fajardo and Rizza Fajardo, and his brother Ruben Jr. He was preceded in death by his father and son Alberto Jose. Visitation is scheduled from 5-9PM, Friday March 6, 2015 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home (7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL). The funeral will take place between 11AM-12:30PM Saturday March 7, 2015 at Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home.
