Russell T Tibbott, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on February 2, 2026. He was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Russell had a passion for movies, comics, and action figures. He found joy in his family and friends. He had an infectious laugh and was always willing to help anyone!
He graduated from Sandalwood High School and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. He enjoyed his work as a Senior Fraud Analyst at Bank of America.
Russell is survived by his mother, Mary Tibbott, his sister, Ginger Bardol, nieces, Meagan Martignoni (Jake) and Lindsay Bardol, and a nephew Jude. Aunts Brenda Patterson and Harriette Patterson, cousins Regina Lamia, Becki Ann and Jordan Lamia-Michaud (Nick), and many great friends. He was preceded in death by his father, William R Tibbott, sister, Lisa Joy Turner, Uncles James Patterson and Paul Patterson, and grandparents, Walter and Eula Mae Patterson, and Russell and Helen Tibbott.
Visitation is Friday, February 6 from 5-7 pm and a graveside service Saturday, February 7 at 11 am at Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens at 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225.
