Sandra Malone and Marilyn Sanac worked together when my kids were in kindergarten and they were two teachers that helped get all three of my kids started on a great track in school. Even though all my kids are in college now we have often talked about Mrs. Malone and Mrs. Sanac. You probably wonder how can you remember back that far. Great teachers stand out. You could always tell they truly loved the kids and what they did. Always sweet and kind, always had a way to help the kids learn. Our whole family was very saddened to hear of her passing. My daughter cried because with all the teachers she had in school Mrs.Malone and Mrs. Sanac were her favorite. She didn't want to leave Pinedale because she wouldn't get to see them again. I know that Sandy kept that same compassion for people and kids. I just couldn't see it any other way. Sandy was truly an example of a great teacher and loving person. It just seems too early. Only our Lord knows the answers.

To Aunt Margie, Bubba, Wayne, Angie and family, although we are in North Carolina now our thoughts are with you all there in Jacksonville.  Sandra K, as I remember her, was such a loving and full-of-life member of the family and I know you all will miss her but also that she will continue to live in your cherished memories.

I've known Sandy for close to 20 years, and it's still sureal that she's moved on. In my heart, this is bittersweet, for I know that she's now without pain, without illness and is forever healthy and in the presence of glory. Yet my heart aches with knowing that in this life, she has left it. 

I pray that our Lord guides and comforts Wayne, Angie and her family. This is never an easy time in ones life, and the pain and sadness of loss is great. I know she was met by her sister and dad who traveled home before her.
