Sandra was born in Jacksonville on December 20, 1950. She was known for her love of the color purple, Coca-Cola, and Elvis Presley. Sandra resided at Pine Castle Group Home #1 for persons with special needs for over thirty years. The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude for the loving care given to Sandy by the Pine Castle staff.
She is predeceased by her devoted parents, Virgil and Mary, and one nephew, Billy. She is survived by her brothers, Donald (Becky) and John (Darlene), as well as many nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the North side of Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. The family will receive friends immediately prior to the service at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to Pine Castle (www.pinecastle.org) in her memory.
