

Sasha grew up singing and playing alongside her treasured big brother Bruce, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She graduated from Ann Arbor High School in 1963. She later attended the University of Michigan and earned a degree in Botany.
Sasha married Dr. Gary Ainsworth in 1968. They welcomed two daughters, Keeley Dawn and Ginger Michele. In 1980, Sasha married Robert Wayne Wagner, adding his four children Debra, Robert Jr., Steven, and Kathy, to create a family that she cherished with her whole heart.
Clever, curious, and an exceptional problem solver, Sasha worked in a genetics laboratory as a young graduate and later as a commodities trader. She was known for the zest and enthusiasm she brought to everything she did, from creating tiny miniature scenes to honing her painting skills. She enjoyed classical music, art, butterflies, plants, crafting and miniatures, acrylic painting, learning Spanish, and book club. She especially valued quality time spent with loved ones.
Sasha is survived by her daughters Keeley Browder and Ginger Shantz; her stepchildren Debra Wagner, Robert Wagner Jr., Steven Wagner, and Kathy Shinn; her brother, Bruce Nourse; her grandchildren Samuel, Steven, James, Jennifer, Kristi, Becca, Ahna Marie, Brett, Hayden, Hadley, Camille, Leila, Beckett, and Carson; as well as 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 16th at 11:00 am at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd N, Jacksonville, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
