Jack, as he was called by his friends, was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War, then worked for Greyhound for over 20 years. Once he retired, he began a new career as the owner and operator of a Southside 66 service station at Beach Boulevard and Parental Home Road. He met and made many lifelong friends while working there. He always gave generously to friends, relatives, and customers as well as to perfect strangers over the years, always ready with a tool box and a helping hand.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Margaret, 2 children Morris (Norma) and Gloria, sister Cathy, brothers Charles and Clarence, Granddaughter Lori (Gavin), great grandchildren Griffin & Emily, and many nieces 7 nephews.
He was preceded in death by 2 grandsons Greg and Billy.
