Susan Marie Hughes, age 71, passed away suddenly on October 8, 2018. She was born July 14, 1947 in Jacksonville, FL. She was the beloved daughter of William and Marie Price. She was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School.
Susan retired from JEA. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Susan's main love and concern was for her family and her greatest joy was spending time with her loved ones. She was a mother to everyone. There was nothing she wouldn't do to help anyone in need. She will be greatly missed by her family. The family gatherings will never be the same without her.
She is predeceased by her father, William Price and brother, Phillip Price. She is survived by her mother, Marie Price; her daughter, Jennifer Hughes (Terry); her son, Bradley Hughes; her granddaughter, Monica Sneed; and her niece, Melody Nieves (Ben).
Visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Saturday, October 13 at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, followed by the Graveside Service at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 13 at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens.
