He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen; his parents, Dewey and Dora Prater-Lawhorn; stepfather, Oscar Lawhorn; brothers, Jackie, Joe and Robert; and nephew Joey.
Survived by brothers, Gary of Rocklin, California and Eugene of Lenoir City, Tennessee; sister, Karen of Knoxville, Tennessee; daughters, Marsha Raynor, Patricia Crawford (Carrol), Sharon Trigg and Pamela McCall; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all who loved him very much.
Tommy honorably served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and later in the United States Army as a Military Policeman. He drove trucks for 40 years and was retired from Teamsters Local 512. He loved cats, dogs, bluegrass, country and gospel music. He also loved playing the guitar.
A graveside service for Tommy will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
