Veronica M. Bayless, 74, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born March 27, 1941 to Joseph and Lois Taylor Sr. in Jacksonville, FL. Veronica loved to dance, travel, work all kinds of crafts and she loved cooking, especially for the neighborhood. She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years Merle, two brothers Harry Taylor and Larry Taylor, two grandchildren Kara and Jessica. Veronica is survived by 4 sons Keith (Donna) Anderson, Kenneth Bayless, Kevin (Scarlett) Bayless, Karl Bayless, 2 daughters Karen (Mark) Thomas, Keri Jenkins, 2 brothers Robert Taylor, Joey Taylor, 1 sister Kathy Russell, 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 6-8pm at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral services to be held in the chapel on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 11am with interment at Riverside Memorial Park.
