Virgilio Trinidad Nevado, 68, of Jacksonville, FL passed away July 7, 2021. He was born in the Philippines on June 18, 1953 and married Marilyn Nevado on September 10, 1977. Virgilio Nevado worked in Electrical Engineering for 22 years in the U.S. Navy and 20 years in the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of The World Tang Soo Do Association and had a passion for teaching martial arts, spending time with his granddaughters and being an all-around handyman.
He is survived by his son Derrick Nevado and daughter-in-law Orlene Nevado; grandchildren Mariah Nevado, Monica Nevado and Isabella Nevado; siblings Ronald Nevado, Felipe Nevado, Esther Nevado and Lourdes Alcid.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Burial will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. following the Memorial Service.
