Wanda Joyce McBee Hayes, 90, passed away in Jacksonville, Florida on March 8, 2021. Born in Monroe, Michigan, Wanda went on to become a very successful real estate agent in Rockford, Illinois during the 1970's. After locating to Jacksonville in 1994 she became very active in her Church - Oceanway Assembly of God.
Wanda always had a heart for children, even sponsoring two children in foreign countries for over 30 years. She was always the life of the party, and was deeply devoted to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Wanda is preceded in death by her husband of many years, Coy D. Hayes, her parents, Herman and Nancy McBee, sisters, Geneva Keck and Jewell Yeary, brother Arlie McBee, nephews, Pat McBee and Greg McBee, and son-in-law Danney Willis.
She is survived by her daughter, Arlene N. Willis of Jacksonville, Florida, grandchildren, Jennifer Fraser (Stephen) of Jacksonville, and Joshua Willis of Nashville, Tennessee, great-Grandchildren Austin Fraser, niece Joan Keck of Townville, South Carolina, and nephews Bill McBee of Clairmoore, Oklahoma and David Yeary of Bowling Green, Ohio.
