I came across this today when searching for Uncle Ken's music for my mother, Lillian (Clark) Bateman. She currently lives at Warnerview Skilled Nursing in Alturas, CA, if anyone would like to call or write her, she would love it. I have wonderful memories of Great Uncle Kenneth and his family. I believe he's playing music in Heaven and with my Grandpa Robert Clark now. May God bless you all. We send our love and prayers.

Ken was a great brother-in-law, father and husband.  He was the finest man that I was ever privileged to know. He could orate for hours, especially when he began the lengthy recount of his childhood and early growing up years in Moultrie, Georgia.  His love of old country and bluegrass music was reflected in all aspects of his life.  He was the father of bluegrass music in Florida.  Ken will be missed by all who knew him and by the family.  Jewell said he was the most honorable man she ever knew.  Our condolences are with Marsine and family.
