Wilmer Kurtz Bird Fisher

Wilmer Kurtz Bird Fisher, age 93, formerly of Savannah, GA, passed away September 26, 2021 in Jacksonville, FL. He enjoyed golf, but his special hobby was working in his yard, planting flowers and having the perfect lawn. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and grandchildren, and cooking and grilling out.

Wilmer is survived by his children, Victoria Bargainnier (Barry) and Cynthia Lundy (Tim). He also leaves four granddaughters and four great grandchildren that love him dearly. He was predeceased by his wife Jean Marie Fisher. They were married 67 years.

Services will be at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 4050 Barnes Road, Jacksonville, FL 32207, Thursday October 7, 2021. Visitation will be 2-3pm, followed by the service at 3pm, with refreshments to follow. Interment will take place on Friday October 8, 2021 at 12pm, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 315 Greenwich Road, Savannah, GA with Military honors.
