Arthur L. Ellis

ELLIS, Arthur L., 90, of Bloomfield Twp., died October 30, 2016. He was born to the late Albert and Stella Ellis in Mantkins, TX on November 19, 1925. Art received his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the General Motor’s Institute which enabled his career in Engineering with GM. He also worked with Barton Malow and Walbridge Aldinger in project management. Art was a member of the Elks Pontiac Waterford Lodge 810, he was also passionate about volunteering with St. Joseph Hospital and Bloomfield Township Library. He enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling and helping with bingo at Pontiac Catholic HS. Father of Michael (Gayle), John (Kathy), Patricia (Fred) Weber and Barbara (Darrell) House; grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 14. Also survived by his brother Dan (Laura) Ellis. Preceded in death by wife Patricia.

Visitation 4 – 8 pm Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Pixley Funeral Home, 2904 Orchard Lake Rd in Keego Harbor. Funeral Service 11 am Friday, November 4, 2016 at the funeral home with Visitation from 10 am until start of service.
