Edward Michael Farner, age 65, of Clarkston, was born August 22, 1960 and passed away January 4, 2026. Beloved husband of Cindy Sue Johnson-Farner. Loving father of Edward Michael Farner Jr. and Michelle Mae McLaren. Cherished grandfather of Abel Joseph Wisdom. Dear brother of Jackie (Ron) Rioux, John Cartwright, Gerry (Andy) Searcy, Pam Brueggeman, Melinda (Bill) Immel, Cathy Cartwright, Lisa (Keith) Ringle, and Beth Kenyon. Edward will be missed by numerous other family members and friends. Edward was preceded in passing by his parents, Edward Foster Farner and Frances Ann Ash.
Ed spent most of his life as a carpet installer, taking deep pride in doing the job right and leaving every space better than he found it. He was known for his strong work ethic, steady hands, and attention to detail, qualities he carried quietly but confidently. When the workday was done, Ed found joy in the sound of old rock and roll, letting the music play as a soundtrack to a life built on honest labor and simple pleasures.
