George C.Filby Jr. age 74 of Keego Harbor, passed away at home October 7, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Berta, loving father of George (Linda), Sandra (Pruitt) Pendergrass, Greg, Robert (Laura) Robin (Dave) Gilpatrick; proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren dear brother to 4 sisters. He was a U.S. Army veteran, retired from the automotive industry where he worked as a Skilled Tradesman; a life long resident of Keego Harbor and graduate of Roosevelt High School He will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral Service 11 am Friday, October 12, 2012 at Pixley Funeral Home Godhardt-Tomlinson Chapel. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm and Friday 10 am until the time of service. Memorials are suggested to the charity of choice In Memory of George.
