John “Jeff” Jeffery Changas, age 53, passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, February 16th, 2021, due to heart complications. He was born on April 28th, 1967, in Detroit, to John and Barbara Changas. Jeff Graduated from Walled Lake Highschool and from Michigan State University with a degree in Advertising. Jeff led a successful and exciting life that allowed him to travel the world. He didn’t praise himself on his career accomplishments because he believed and often said, “that it was more important to be a successful human being.” He was a successful human being by eliminating the negative in his life, being kind, generous and always putting the needs of others before his own needs. For Jeff, living life this way was inspired by his brother. Survived by his mother, Barbara Changas; life Partner/fiancé, Lisa Crafton; in-laws, Leon and Linda Crafton; brother, Cliff Yokom; two sisters, Claudia Eversole and Maggie Demeter; niece, Jessie Demeter; nephew, Cody Demeter; and many aunts and cousins. There will be no service because he didn’t believe in the ritual and he never wanted to put his family and friends through the awful ordeal of seeing him in that state. Instead, he didn’t want anyone to be sad for him, he wanted everyone to remember him as he was and continue to celebrate their own lives.
