Verda Ellen Calhoun

Verda Ellen Calhoun, age 86, of Keego Harbor, passed away October 24, 2018. She was born in Pathfork, Kentucky on May 18, 1932. Verda was married to Claude Calhoun on December 24, 1947. She always had a passion for her family, watching thunderstorms, and fishing. Verda is survived by her children, Jean (Gerald) Jenks, Claudette (Danny) Craig, Donita (Bill) Laessle, Debbie (Scot) Bower, Joan (Mike) Tenuta, Claude Calhoun Jr., Tiney (Scott) Ferguson, Billy (Sarah) Calhoun, Seth (Amy) Calhoun, and the late Jimmy (Patty) Calhoun; her 54 wonderful grandchildren; her 50 great grandchildren; her 3 great great grandchildren; and her 5 siblings. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 5-9 PM at Family Funeral Care, 2904 Orchard Lake Rd., Keego Harbor, MI. Visitation will then be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 7-9 PM at Pentecostal Holiness of Pathfork, Kentucky. A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 11 AM, with gathering beginning at 10 AM, at Pentecostal Holiness of Pathfork, Kentucky.
