Mr. Fisher, died Jan 14, 2013, at S&W Hospital in Temple, TX. He was born in Boston, MA, the son of William J and Mary (Norton) Fisher. Arthur was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his brothers Paul Fisher and William Fisher Jr, his brother-in-law Frederick Mycroft, and his sister Jeanne. He is survived by Janice Campbell, his significant other of 18+ years, his brother John and his partner Gloria of SC, and his sisters Barbara Mycroft and Kathleen Black and her husband AI of FL. He is also survived by many nieces/nephews and friends in MA and TX.
He was a life member of the VFW in MA, where he was a member of the Post Color Guard and transferred his life membership to TX where he resided for the last 6+ years. Burial will be at a later date at the National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to S&W Hospice, 2401 S 31st St. Temple TX 76508.
