Birdie C Watts

Mrs. Watts died February 9, 2014 in Temple. She was born December 5, 1927 in Coryell County to Annie and William Chaney. She lived in Killeen for the past 65 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Wilson E. Watts; two sisters, Danna Reeves and Ceola Grudman; three brothers Albert Beard, Billy Ray Chaney and J. W. Chaney. Survivors include three sons, Ronald K. Watts and wife Tammie of Encintas, CA; Mikel W. Watts and wife Glenda of San Angelo; Charles E. Watts and wife Jan of Killeen; two brothers Reagan Chaney of Las Vegas, NV and Alton G. Chaney of Fort Worth; as well as 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Watts was a member of the First Baptist Church of Killeen for over 60 years where she was a former Sunday School teacher, nursery and VBS volunteer. She was an early morning walker at the Killeen Mall for many years.
